and i for one eagerly wait for the day when the console titles start coming out with that. my god what a glorious shitstorm those days will entail.

Indeed and it will happen. Can't wait for the uproar from the parents.

I can only hope that blizzard will still be developing for the pc market first.

They're aligned with activision, so they're capitalists and nothing but now. They've jumped ship long ago, its extremely evident with how they've dumbed WoW down so that soccer moms can play it, not to mention the 27,000 paid services they have associated with wow accounts.

That has been reported several times since like 2005.

Really? Not that i've heard, the only thing ever confirmed was that blizz was working on starcraft ghost. I've never seen a report indicating that blizzard was in the process of making ALL of their games for consoles.

Can't wait for WoW 2, the console game ported to PC. Can't expect less from activision.

dude, i hate to say it but MMO's are dumbed down to begin with. its a clickfest that rewards how much time spent playing vs any skill whatsoever.

Seriously? No one's avatar suited them better, what game company, developer, or person isn't a capitalist in this industry?

This is capitalism in its purest form. Do you think communists were churning out video games at this level of speed, saturation, and sophistication?

Some developers/game companies/persons focus on making good games, which will make money over just straight up making money (no matter how much they shit on their consumers in the process).

Are you this (edit) to require an explanation? All game devs are capitalists, but some devs go to ridiculous lengths to exploit their customers for the almighty dollar. EA is a good example. Or in the music industry , metallica ditching their sound and going alternative to sell more records in the late 90s. Of course it will make them more money but they lose their integrity somewhere along the way - making changes for the sake of money even if it ends up a worse product.

*le sigh* That doesn't make one company any less capitalist than the other. It just makes one more obvious about it than the other. Massive difference.

But I understand no one actually goes to their high school econ classes, so I guess you're forgiven for spouting off a load of crap.
