Hey guys!

I just recently bought a new mobo/ram and processor on NCIX.com and I would like to know if I made a good choice or if Im going to have a lot of problem with configuration. Here's my purchase:

- AMD ATHLON 64 3000+ PROCESSOR S939 VENICE 1.8GHZ 512K L2 CACHE 90NM
180$CAN

- Chaintech S1689 ATX ULI M1689 S939 DDR AGP 5PCI SATA Motherboard
73$CAN

- Corsair Value Select PC3200 1GB 2X512MB DDR400 184PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
123$CAN

The computer I am going to upgrade:

AMD 900 mhz
ABit KT7 motherboard
768 MB ram pc133

I guess this type of thing happens alot in these forums here???

I didn't quite understand it when I read it either.

If I told the OP that this setup was going to be a problem, it really wouldn't matter becuase he already bought it.

Anyway I don't think you will have a problem.

The only "problem" that I can see is with the mobo. I'm not too fond of ULI chipsets, and I personally think that even a VIA-based board (and I hate VIA) would have been better. Overall, an nForce3\4 board would have been a better choice.
