Is it a bike? Is it a skateboard? Is it a scooter?

So I can't sleep and started watching an infomercial for the Trikke.

Go here if you don't know what the hell it is.

It looks interesting, but not very sturdy or durable.
I would like to try one. Has anybody used one before?
If anything it looks like good workout, but probably useless going up a hill.
Not to mention you look like a goof trying to ride one.

IMHO, it looks kind of odd, doesn't look like it would be too fun to ride, and too many people would point and laugh at you. 😛

However, like you said, it would probably be a good workout

They are trying to make this the next pheonomon but it's been around for years already and didn't get any plan. So they combines with Razor (makes the scooters) to try to make it become a must have item for kids. Looks kind of weird to me.

They are not very cool, do not go fast, and you certainly do not need a helmet while riding one. I use to ride one of our demos around my old workplace. Never sold one but it was definitly different!

I saw some dork here in New York riding one ... He didn't look too steady and he almost plowed into a couple of people.
