Is is wortth getting cas2 ram?

I currently have Toshibla cas3 PC-133 256mb ram, should I get cas2 ram and is it worth getting it. I will give my old ram to my bro so money is not a worry.

However
Can I use both cas2 and cas3 ram together.

Also is there a way to set my cas3 ram to cas2 and how do i know its is cas3 or cas2. I think it is cas3 ram becuase thats what my bios says so is this right? is ther a way to change to cas2 even if it is cas3 and is this bad?

Yes, you can use cas2 and cas3 memory together. Whatever cas timings your bios is set to is what the memory will run. However not all cas3 memory will be stable at cas2. Your mileage will always vary.

However if you want to improve memory bandwidth, download and flash to the K7T Pro2a overclocker bios, set your dram timing by spd to "auto" which will enable 4-way interleaving.
