It's not you. When a previously popup free site starts going to popups, it's sometimes the beginning of the end for that site. Case in point, Daily Radar was popup free for a while, then went to popups for the main page, then popups on every page. Then they closed down. With the cost of bandwidth, people are having a hard time keeping their "hobby sites" open. Take Penny-Arcade, they get so many hits on a basiclly free site (you can donate if you want, in fact I'd suggest it), they can't hardly afford the bandwitdh. I hope I never see the day when they cant afford to keep the site open.
