I restarted my computer for the first time in about a month today, I don't recall having made any BIOS changes or anything last time I started up or even opening up my case for a while...

The computer shut down and just wouldn't restart. No CPU fans spinning, no power being delivered to other devices, no sound of my monitor firing up. NOTHING.

The board is two years old so I can't say I would be SURPRISED by it crapping out, but I really don't freaking want that to happen!!

The power indicator light on the board comes on and stays on, there is just no response from the power switch. I unplugged the ATX connector from the board and connected the green wire to a black wire, turned on the PSU and it came on... it just won't do ANYTHING when connected to the board.

There are no indications of burns, exploded resistors or capacitors, it was all running perfectly fine before I shutdown.

I've removed all my PCI cards, disconnected my drives and left just my video card plugged in and still no response.

Any help?

I had similer problem on my FIC KT-748 MoBo.
Since I assembled three months ago, it worked fine till BlackFriday.
While I was browsing the Webpages, it shutdown by itself.
You may find the details on here (check villagepeople on this forum).

From the sequence of incidents, feel like, your MoBo is hit.
