Is invoice the same as receipt?

Bought something from amazon and need to print the receipt for a rebate, can I send in the invoice?

If not, where can I find the receipt on amazon's site?

If the invoice shows that it's paid, then yes, it's a receipt. An invoice doesn't necessarily = a receipt, sometimes it's a bill (if you haven't paid yet.)

That's my take on it, I could be wrong I suppose. At any rate, this is a bump for you.

yes, invoice is your receipt

or you could print out your order page from your account.

an invoice is for something you haven't paid for yet.

a receipt indicates payment has been made.

an order ticket/bill of lading/shipping bill is for shipped material and usually does not speak to the payment status.
