Is Intel going to release a equivelent to SLI in the near future?

Topic says it all. AMD just sux at my DivX encoding compared to intel (from past builds). But now that I have most of everything DivX'ed that I care for. A want a jump in FPS's. I might have to go the AMD route, but if it means sacrificing DivX encode time's (computer is very valueable to to me since I do have customers) I might have to think about it.

Whats, your take?
