Big Moe ... there are several threads in the Technical Support section that give instructions on how to install a S-ATA drive. The only differences are that the S-ATA drive plugs into a different header on the motherboard and when you are installing WIndows, you have to hit F6 to install the correct drivers. Also, you must enable a couple of things in the system BIOS. I cannot remember everything I had to do to get my S-ATA drive installed, but the threads I mentioned above were very helpful.

What if you don't have the drivers? You can't DL them because you're in the process ofg building a computer, right? Or will Windows let you operate far enough so that you can get the drivers? Just wondering, as I have some quims about SATA.

Depending on your system board it *could* recognize your SATA drives. My Asus P4P800E Deluxe recognized my SATA drives with no special drivers.
