Is Infineon good?

How does infineon memory rank up against crucial, mushkin, etc... particularly in both price and performance?
this is because i am looking for low profile memory...
thanx

mushkin usually uses a mix of Infineon chips (for the REV 3 stuff and more expensive rev2) and mosel, IBM, Nanya, and Samsung for others..

All my mushkin is built with Infineon chips and i have had no complaints about it, it does what its supposed to do.

Again, this is 14th hand info, but Infineon is said to be a great O/C chip. But my experence in that arena is limited by a p3 that won't go above a 127mhz bus.

Other than that, i can't say much else....

thanx for the input...
oh i see... since i am considering low profile memory (my friends' case would require it cuz its small and stuff)... is there really a difference between sdrams and ddrs? like a noticeable difference? because the low profile ddrs are due to release later this year.. so *shrug*
anybody has any input?
thanx

i have sum infineon i got from bonkers back in the day that does 150 2-2-2 ya baby!

its up for sale too...dunno if mine is low profile though

I live in Canada, so that mushkin/crucial stuff isn't as easy to obtain... so I only use infineon...
all the chips I've tested go at least 142mhz 2-2-2. and that's if you're not too lucky! 🙂
