Is ICQ UIN list server down?

This probubly stems from the AIM buddy list problem that AOL had a few days back, but I just opened up my ICQ and I can't pull my list of friends/UIN's anymore..

Anybody else having this issue?

I dunno know if things have changed since I used ICQ 2000b and earlier versions... but the UIN list wasn't stored on any server. It's stored on your local system.

icq 2003 stores on the server and locally. which is part of what makes icq > all (go.icq.com is the best thing evar!)

Ah good to know. My contact list would probably show everyone as offline if I reinstalled ICQ right now though... still have all my old messages and stuff. Lotta memories in that UIN folder. Kinda miss those days. 🙁
