Honda makes bicycles? they're probably quite reliable and resale value is no doubt high.

I seen these Honda bikes at K-mart. I say it's a rebadged Vertical, another K-mart brand. For $100, it's going to be a cheap bike that rides like a cheap bike.

Well, you support PETA. Maybe, the OP supports Greenpeace or some other tree-hugging organization and would rather peddle his/her way around town than polluting it with burnt gasoline. ;)

My friend had one, they aren't very high quality, a lot of cheap components, esp the derailleurs and the wheels.

Lots of vendors make bikes or probably outsources other manufacturers to make bikes in their names. I saw a Panasonic bike on sale for 300 bucks (US eq at that time) in Narita Japan. I've also seen one made by Jaguar as well.

Do not buy that bike. It is a POS. If you want a bike, go to a bike shop and spend AT LEAST $250 for a real bike. Get a Specialized, Trek, Marin, or something similar. A bike shop bike costs 3 times as much as a Wal-Mart bike, but is 20 times better. Plus, it was put together by somebody who knows what he/she is doing.

Cliff Notes: Department store bikes suck.
Get a real bike.

honda makes one the best downhill bikes on the planet. You can't buy it unfortunately, it's completely custom and is being used as R&D for the MX division.

I've got a Daewoo TV in my bedroom (I do not recall it ever being turned on in the past 2 years).

What a piece of garbage.
