I just fixed my Logitech G302 left button which was double clicking even though I've only had it for less than a year. Wanted to have a look inside instead of returning it under warranty.
What I think is killing mice buttons so quickly is holding them down (cut/pasting/dragging windows) since I've hardly been gaming while using the mouse and but have been busy with editing/coding/gui work.
The G302 uses omrons for the fore and middle finger buttons but kailh for dpi and side switches. The kailh looks more difficult to open since there is no hinge at the ends. I'm sure I fixed that brand of microswitch previously on another mouse but I can't remember how I manage to get it open now. So gamers who hold down side switches say for running are going to suffer if they need to fix/replace the side switch and they might have to desolder the switch and replace it instead of fixing it.
