Is heatware actually any good?

Hey all...

Im going to be making a transaction with someone, as I'm selling a 1 yr old Sony Trintron 19" G420S to an individual who has a perfect heatware record. Asking price is $250. He has 70 perfect (positive) remarks on his record. So if someone has that many positive remarks, is he safe to deal with? Would you send the monitor first and then wait for payment? I've heard so many horror stories of people that had perfect heatware records and then there ripping off people left and right.

So should I just send him the monitor first and wait for payment, or vice versa? I just don't want to get ripped off.

thanks.

🙂

its safe aslong as its his.

get him to email you from his heatware email. Email ppl that hes done deals with just cross check on him

Actually 2 people.

StarRover, might be buying the Lian Li case.

Type S-Zero, might be buying the Sony G420S trintron monitor.

Heatware:

StarRover has 160 (all positive) heatware references.
Type S-Zero has 70 (all positive) heatware references.

Both are very positive. Should i feel safe when my buyers have perfect heatware like this?

thxs again.

🙂

i'd feel comfortable with that kind of heat...but be aware as a buyer/seller: make sure it's their email. More than likely, you'll ship first since you probably don't have established heatware.

Yes, they are good people. Ship it first, you are new guy on the boards. After awhile you will have some heat evals and then people will be able to trust you. 🙂

Yup, I would. Means 160 people had a smooth deal with StarRover and 70 people had a pleasant time with S-Zero.

I'd feel comfortable with that 🙂

thxs guys.

I just wanted to make sure that I was going about this the right way. I usually don't sell items on-line and wanted to do this as risk free as possible.

thxs again.
