Is having a high credit limit bad?

No it gives you a greater probablility of having a low utilization % which is good for your FICO.

The higher the better, as long as you're responsible enough to handle it. (never actually carry a balance is a good idea, pay it off in full every month)

Unless your willing to pay the min and APR every month. The Credit Card company will love you as a customer
