Is Halo ever coming out for the PC?

A There WILL be Mac and PC versions of Halo. Go back and read that sentence again. Notice the clear, straightforward nature of the answer. Note that this answer comes directly from Bungie, the makers of Halo, and is posted on our official site.

It doesn't matter what the guy in the forum said, or what the guy in the magazine said, or what the guy at the software store said. All that matters is what Bungie said. And Bungie has said, time and time again, that PC and Mac versions of Halo will ship. Work is being done right now to make these versions a reality. Anyone who tells you otherwise does not know what he is talking about.


--note that they don't say when, just that there will be a PC/MAC version...

 
Hmm...why did I get an Xbox when all the games are going to come out on PC? No wonder why xbox is failing big time...
 
Yes, as Uber already said. Matt has said over and over that it's coming out. My guess would be sometime after they finish the Halo online game for the Xbox (early 2003 for PC maybe?)
 
It's the only AAA Xbox title. They are going to hold off on it as long as possible, in hope to snag PC gamers over to the Xbox. Don't count on seeing it anytime soon.
