The report contains four specific allegations of groping. Three on the buttocks (outside the clothing), one on the breasts (under the blouse).

S 130.52 Forcible touching.
A person is guilty of forcible touching when such person
intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly touches the
sexual or other intimate parts of another person for the purpose of
degrading or abusing such person; or for the purpose of gratifying the
actor's sexual desire.
For the purposes of this section, forcible touching includes
squeezing, grabbing or pinching.
Forcible touching is a class A misdemeanor.

Don't one of the women need to file a complaint though? I fully support it if they do.

No, that is not how criminal prosecutions work. They are initiated by prosecutors, not victims.

Of course the prosecutor will need the victim to testify. But the information which has been made public so far is enough to bring about criminal charges if that is what the DA/AG wants.

They probably won't prosecutor a misdemeanor though, not where it's a he said/she said. I suspect that forcible touching is not an often prosecuted offense.

LOL. Except this is round 2 dipshit. Or are you already forgetting about Round 1 where nothing happened?

Plus the massive cover-up from nursing homes on top of that....

What are you even talking about? These allegations have been under investigation for months now. By and at the behest of democrats. And these are not the first calls from prominent democrats for Cuomo to resign.

In the meantime, you sat for years with your thumb up your ass while Trump made a mockery of the Presidency and this country, never complaining once.

Sorry, but you and your tribe have no standing in this discussion. Go sit in the corner while the adults work this out.

He apparently thinks that a bunch of Democrats saying they wanted to wait until the allegations were investigated means that he got away with it? Now you're probably thinking 'but then they did investigate it and he didn't get away with it', but we are not exactly dealing with a surplus of brainpower here with @s0me0nesmind1.

A few questions:
If Cuomo resigns, doesn't he protect his pension?
If he doesn't resign and is impeached... is his pension ( or part of his pension) in jeopardy?
Is any part of his 5 million dollar book advance available for the taking should he lose the Civil cases likely coming his way; or would the taxpayers of NY pay for any Civil judgements against him?

Sorry, raping women and sending dick pics is something you guys can gladly take 100% ownership of.
But attempting to rape your own wife's ass is just fine for you! I wish I could tell you to fuck off to your face! But alas, doing it in text form in a daily basis satisfies well enough.

Can't answer about the pensions. However, it's likely that the State of New York will indemnify Cuomo against any liability for conduct while on the job. Might be an exception where the conduct was criminal. Basing this off California law but I doubt it is very different in NY. In other words, yeah, the taxpayer will likely be on the hook. I'd be happy to be wrong about that one.

One ironic thing is that in 2019 Cuomo signed a new law making it far easier to prove claims of workplace harassment.

Whoops, sucks for him.

How quickly they forget, Republicans are still and will always be the party of stalk em and fuck em against their will.

172 Republicans Voted Against the Violence Against Women Act

The House voted last night to renew the Violence Against Women Act, landmark legislation that helps combat stalking, domestic violence, and sexual assault, adding some crucial updates to its framework after the Trump administration let it lapse in 2019.

However, 172 House Republicans voted against the act — less than 24 hours after a mass shooter killed seven women in massage parlors in Atlanta, Georgia. The shooter justified his horrifying rampage using language steeped in racist fetishization and misogyny.

Republicans continue to be the piece of fucking shit party of pocket holders. A smart person once said that every piece of shit conservative attack is a confession.

Oh if those poor sodomized skeletons could talk.

Let's not forget what the Queen sellout did in regards to protecting women:

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene had a characteristically extreme, offensive, and nonsensical defense for her “No” vote, cast — again — mere hours after women were gunned down, saying, “If you want to protect women, make sure women are gun owners and know how to defend themselves,” she said. “That’s the greatest defense for women.”

Typical paid for party line garbage human being. Not much unlike some of the abhorrent traitors that post here.

So just remember, Republicans are the still the party of hatred towards women especially ones they think might be liberal. Republicans will go to great lengths to protect their own predators as evidenced last fall.

The OP should be pleased. A lesson his hero taught all of us, it doesn't matter what crimes you have committed. Stall, obfuscate, lie and even pressure other to help them stay in office.

BTW - In case anyone doesn't already know AC needs to go. Democrats have standards.
AC will probably go in spite of the Democrat's standards.

I have a theory. I know a lot of what we see here by the usual suspects is just trolling, but hear me out. It *is* true that there were plenty of liberal-types who had seriously bad takes on Cuomo early in the pandemic. By and large, they've owned up to it and have been all for seeing him resign, investigated and prosecuted as appropriate. (e.g. My Cuomo ‘Crush’ Turned Out to Be Stockholm Syndrome (thedailybeast.com) )

I think for folks for whom the authoritarian mindset comes especially naturally, seeing leaders admit to being wrong is *inherently* a sign of weakness. It doesn't really matter whether the leaders actually are wrong or not - what matters is the projection of strength. And I think there are folks who genuinely have a hard time wrapping their minds around the idea of people looking at someone admitting error and seeing that admission as a sign of *strength*. So they assume that people who claim that that's how they see things are lying and playing games to ultimately support their team.

This is wrong, of course. But I think there are some genuine disconnects out there. I'll be durned if I see a way to fix it though.
