As far as time goes I think it's irrelevant, you cheat if you sleep with someone other than your significant other whether it's once or a dozen times, course she might be a little more forgiving once.

I find it very, very, VERY hard to believe that you haven't committed this "adulterous" act. And if you have done this, and you agree that strip clubs are indeed cheating, how do you differentiate between the two acts?

If you're going to strip clubs all the time then you might have some issues to work out with your bf/gf in my opinion. If you go to the club once or whatever with your friends then that's cool. now if there's any kind of touching then i think you're cheating, i see absolutely no damn reason for you to be touching someone else in a sexual way or letting them touch you when you're with someone else. if you want to be all over other people or want to let them be all over you then stay single.

If you're married, it's cheating... cheating the family out of your time, your money, and your love.

As long as I know where he is going it wouldn't bother me. I actually went to a really funny party at a Kahala Beach house where all of the women except me were exotic dancers (one of out exotic dancer friends invited us). The women (in general) are very insecure and the first thing one of them did when we walked in the door was grab my now-husband's head and jam it into her breasts. I grabbed it back, said "he prefers REAL ones" and laughed her off. It turned out to be quite a night!

Interesting thread, as opinion is split, with valid reasons on both sides. To me it sounds like each couple involved needs to discuss the matter to establish ground rules, and then go from there. For example, whatever is ok for the guy to do is also ok for the woman to do (and vice versa). Your motivations for going are also a factor; for example, if you've got a friend visiting who wants to go and you're tagging along, that's a lot different than you going every weekend because you're not attracted to your significant other.

NEVER go to the nudie bar if you're married. We went to Windsor with another couple once, and the wives went to the male bar, we hit the girlie bar. I was actually embarrased to be in there 😱 A totally nekid olive skinned woman came and sat next to me, and started telling me how she was working her way through school doing this, how she was from Chile, etc. She couldn't tell me the capital of Chile (yeah...sure she's from there) and left after she found out I wasn't forking over money. Anyway...it was my wife's idea to go to the bar, and I STILL GOT IN TROUBLE!!!! She was mad at me for a week for "looking at other women". So, don't do it...you won't win 🙁

I think she was mad because they came back early and we ended up being 10 minutes late (we actually left early too, but thought they were in the casino. The point is that it was her idea. It's not as if you lied to her and went to the strip club. If I told my husband that he should go to a strip club and he did I wouldn't have the right to treat him like crap because he did. Like I said before, it's just tits and arse. Nothing more.

And I feel the same (NOT Cheating) about her going to a male strip club.

[EDIT]I do appreciate Kassy's argument though. Before I used to say and think it was harmless--however, I certainly would be upset if my wife wanted work at a club (even on rare 'occasion'). Thus, it can't be as harmless as I wanted to think it is/was. However... I don't think going and looking is the same as going and performing. I guess my argument is that watching men/women "degrade" themselves isn't the same as degrading oneself (and I don't think the watching is degrading).

I still don't think watching (and even the obligatory lap dance -- because it's protocol) is cheating (in both cases: for me or if my wife went to one to watch). Yet the opposite, (me or my wife) going to strip and giving lapdances to strangers for money... that would bother me for sure! I still wouldn't think it's actually "cheating" but it's worse than going/watching.

Doesn't matter, I respect my wifes opinion, I don't miss going and neither of us will ever be performing for anyone but ourselves 😛 😀. [/edit]

If my GF (should I ever get one 😉😛) want to go to a male strip club every once in a while, I wouldn't have too much of a problem with it.

"Lap Dances" are getting close to crossing the line. Not sure how I would react. Looking is alright (heck, everyone looks at other attractive people).

Of cource, if my GF went every night that would also be a problem.

You're one of VERY FEW that actually think this is ok. most women will have a cow if their man is going to a strip club.

"why is he going there, doesnt he find me attractive"?
"what did he do there anyway? did he touch those women? were they touching him?"

while this doesnt bother you, it will bother most women and definately get their imagination going.

If you're not single save yourself the trouble and stay out of strip clubs, chances are that even if your girlfriend tells you it's ok, most likely you will end up in trouble like fritzo, cause they might think they are ok with it at that moment but once you actually do it, they are like "I cant believe he actually went".

most women are pretty unpredictable so you're pretty much gambling on how they will react once you actually do it.
