It depends if the money you're spending is yours personally, or yours and your significant others'.

Depends on why you are going there. If you are going there to have a couple brews with your buds, and watching some college girl shake her booty for tuition, no biggie to me.

But, if you are one of those hopeless bums, that go there with hardon in hand, dumping a couple hundred bucks a night on lapdances and actually get something out of it, then yeh, you just landed in cheatsville.

I could give a flying fart if my fiancee went to a male strip club to have a couple drinks and google at another man for an hour or two. I wouldn't be really happy if he gave her the male equivalent of a lapdance though.

I guess there's a difference between going out and gawking a little bit at members of the opposite sex - and going out and basically getting dry humped to the point of sexual release.

tell her you already went. See how she reacts. Then use that as your basis for deciding whether or not you should go.

I would consider it so. I would be going for sexual gratification (lookin' at da boobies!) and those forms of sexual gratification are things that I reserve for an exclusive relationship. So, yes, I would be cheating on Chelsea.

And I would be pissed if she went to a male strip club for the same reason.

I bet if you asked her "why" she was pissed, she'd stutter or just yell back at you with nonsense. In other words, she was mad "just because."

But there are also women out there who'd actually take their bf/hubbies to a strip club, have a friendly chat with a stripper and personally request her to give her significant other a lap dance he'll never forget. :D A friend of mine has such a wife. That lucky bastard. :)

It depends on what you base your morals on. For instance, biblicly, it's absolutely considered cheating. (adultry and all that). However, if your point of reference has nothing to do with the bible, than who's to say? I guess it depends on your girlfriend/wife/significant other. Would they consider it cheating? If so, than the bottom line is, it doesn't really matter what you think, right?

BTW, don't turn this into a friggin holy war, I was merely using the bible as an example, so p*ssoff... :D

"js, what does that have to do with the consideration? lets just say it's your own money."

I was answering from the viewpoint of a married person. Typically, when you get married, what you have belongs to both spouses, not just you. I believe it would be cheating in a way if you were spending money on lap dances that wasn't understood to be yours personally.

If it was understood to be your money, then I don't think it's wrong/cheating. I think it might actually be a healthy thing.

If Hubby wanted to go to a strip club then I would have no problem with it.
But, my motto is if you can spend our money on strippers, then I can make money stripping.
Its simple, if its that harmless, then it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't really understand this thinking. Just because I use a garbage man doesn't mean I want my girl to be a garbage woman.

She's got it right. I wouldn't go to a strip club if I had a g/f or wife, because I wouldn't feel right about it. And she wouldn't be going either.

But if I did go, I can't see myself telling her that she can't go to a club, or even work at a club.

The point is: don't be a hypocrite about it.

Yeah, this is exactly what I was referring to.

I hope you're joking, Square...
