Is giving a "mix CD" to the opposite sex still considered romantic?

just remember to give him/her a mixed bag of VD , after your mixed CD makes him/her want to immediately jump in the sack with you.

Maybe he *doesn't* want the CD move to be seen as romantic

I'm putting together a mix for a GF, but I don't want her to get the wrong idea. I'm very, very fond of her, but I've been with the same woman in a happy and committed relationship for 3.5 years.

Calling her your girlfriend could do that.

It's kinda scary, I mean I do give out CDs a lot. It's just you talk about music, make a CD of the music you talk about, a lot of times other people request copies. Of course I give them explicit instructions that they must destroy the CD after one listening, I don't want to violate copyright... A mixed tape meant you had to be there to turn things on and off, but a CD takes like 10 min to pop out and that's mostly burn time.

Oh, it's not SUPPOSED to be romantic? No problems then...I think it's kind of gone out of style for an actual present for your significant other (as far as I know), but for just some friend, that's fine.

Although you might not want to call her your GF, people might get the wrong idea. The only people who can really get away with calling a girl their girlfriend if they aren't actually dating would be said girl's female friends. Other than that, not a good idea.

The GF you're giving the mix CD IS NOT the "same woman in a happy and commited relationship for 3.5 yrs."?
I wouldn't. Give her a gift certificate, THAT's an Un-emotional , no risk gift.
