Is Gigabyte going to update the 965P-S3 anymore?

My Gigabyte board still has FSB hole issues between 370-400, cold boot problems, etc... This all seems to be stuff that could be fixed with another BIOS update, but the F8 came out back in January and nothing has since then.

Do Mobo manufacturers generally give up updating them this early in the game? Should I expect another BIOS update or simply accept how the board currently behaves?

I actually have tried that, however the DS3 BIOS is just as old as the S3, and it didn't seem to make much difference in terms of cold-boot issues/FSB problems.

Thanks for the advice though

Have you tried the F7 BIOS? That cleared up my FSB hole and cold boot issues compared to F8, F9 and F10.

I use F5 and that gives me the best overclock with lowest voltage and best stability.

Can't use F5 with the E4300, unfortunately. I'll try F7 though and see if there's a difference
