Is GF3TI faster than GF3 clock for clock?

I am deciding a GF3TI200 vs GF3(normal). The GF3 will OC higher than the TI200, but let say they are at the same clock. Will there be any difference? I ask this question because SOME GF3TI200 oc to a GF3normal easily, or even surpasses it.

And there are no 'normal' Geforce3s. You either have the Ti500, or the Ti200.

EDIT: oldfart just served up a heaping helping of crow.

A followup question: How do you guys rate these cards?

- Leadtek GF3Ti200
- MSI 8822 'normal' GF3
- Innovision GF3TI200

The original Geforce 3 is faster than the Ti200 but slower than the Ti500.. I'm waiting for the Geforce 4 to come out to spend all my pennies on.

I would recommend the Gainward/CardExpert GeForce3 and Ti series. They are cheaper than others, were highly rated by Anandtech for their 2d quality, and look awesome. Not only that, they overclock exceptionally well!

Gainward actually encourages overclocking.

www.NewEgg.com (search for Gainward, NOT "cardexpert" - NewEgg has a typo so it reads "cardexpeT").

The best pricepoint is at the GeForce3-Ti 200, namely the Gainward one. $165 at NewEgg.com, and it overclocks really well. Most reviewers got it up to the Ti-500 speeds without additional cooling. You can definitely reach the old GF3 speeds easily, without spending an extra $100 on a GF3.
