Is getting a PSP on the internet supposed to be difficult?

My daughter got one for xmas and I've got the thing on the Wireless network. It finds everything OK, 100% signal strength, gets an IP (DHCP), shows up on the wireless router (192.168.0.199) as a connected device (192.168.0.112), I can ping it from my PCs, I can access the router from the Psp browser, but it fail the Internet connection.

DNS settings are OK (or at least, the same for my PCs.)

------
Connection Name: HomeNetwork
Signal strength: 100%
SSID: <correct>
BSSID: <stuff>
Channel: 7
Security: None
IP Address: 192.168.0.112
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default router: 192.168.0.199
Primary DNS: 192.168.0.1
Secondary DNS: 192.168.0.1
MAC Address: <stuff>
Proxy Server: Do not use
Internet browser: Do not start
Internet connection: Failed

Am I missing something obvious?

I'm not sure what could be wrong. I didn't have any issues and I encrypt my wireless. Check the help or faqs at sony's site.

i found psp's internet browser to be a pain to use... but it works for mine, and i have wpa and mac filter on my wireless router.
