Hillary supporting PAC is no longer spending in Colorado, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, since those are not seen as battleground states anymore.

Georgia has been increasingly more prosperous & forward looking than her neighbors since at least the 90's. They still have their problems, particularly out in the countryside.

How about 1968? Does 48 years count as a long time? Not historically long, but as far as our country's been around, I'd say it's a long time.

Utah voted repub in every presidential election since 1952 with the exception of 1964. Goldwater was too much for them back them but Trump seems to be fine today...
