Iam so sick and tired of hearing people totally bash W on his intelligence. In the same breath some of these people said they would perfer Chaney as the President. Who are these people to bash him? If the just took 10 minutes and researched Bushes education they might not be so quick to bash him. But of course this is coming from people who cant even spell intelligence.

The facts.

W graduated from Yale with a BA
W graduated with a MBA from Harvard with A's & B's

Chaney flunked out of Yale twice and then had to get his degree from the University of Wyoming.

Is W stupid? I think not. The ivy league schools dont admit stupid people.

It's a myth perpetuated by the media because George doesn't have the public speaking abilities of Clinton, who was admittedly a great speaker - but so are most used car salesman.

He did manage to get elected to the White House. Then in some circles that isn't considered too bright.

Bill Maher even admitted that Bush was virtually charming washington. They said he couldn't do that but it seems he is able to. I think W has done a pretty good job and has had a much better start than Bill Clinton who really fumbled the ball in his first days.

Regardless of how intelligent the man is,

Washington sure is a better place these days without his crooked predecessor there.

bush jr inherited his pop's talent for inane, stuttering, repetitious
jammerings. the man is obviosuly intelligent but he doesn't have the
gift for eloquent speech, in public or private, that more articulate
people, whether they've graduated ivy or not, certainly possesse.
cut the guy some slack and stop nitpicking. there are more
substabtial weaknesses to him than his genetic disability
with beautiful oratory.

I really don't think GW is dumb, but I would not give too much credence to his academic credentials. His admission to Yale was obviously a function of political patronage, much like his enrollment in inactive status in the Texas Air National Guard during Vietnam. He is no dummy, but he is certainly no intellectual giant either.

Tee, you hit it on the head.

He is charming though. However, charm will get him only so far. His political agenda will need cunning, and I don't know if he is up to it.

Ultimately, time will tell. It always does!

<< He didn't need smarts, just 5 crooked judges. >>

What exactly was wrong with the judges' decision? How were they wrong? Your barrage of supporting facts and evidence, complete with links, is somewhat overwhelming. It might take some time to sort through.

If Bore had his way, Florida would still be counting votes while Clinton would try to name himself dictator for life.

The only thing that ever shows crooked around here is MB's mind.

Guess he learned that from his hero, the great "suck me" Willy.

Thief perhaps, but not stupid.

I seen a media panel discussion the other day, and one viewer called in and asked why they did not go after Bush the way they did with Clinton. And they responded by saying that the whole media is basically burned out with the Clinton scandals.

The one reporter noted that during Clinton's campaign there were over 40,000 articles dealing with his alleged 'dodging the draft' but during Bush's campaign there were less than 100 articles written about his alleged evasion via the National guard not to mention the supposed evidence he was even AWOL with the guard also.

whats wrong with a 3.5 GPA? im my books thats pretty good and not even close to being classified as an idiot. What does being mexican have to do with anything? are you jealous that a foriegner is smarter than you? Or, are you saying she got into princeton to meet a quota?

Just a tip here guys is that most schools have quotas to fill. Being a under-represented minority is definitely a hook most of us don't have. More power to em, but don't deny that such a thing exists.
