Like yesterday I'm watching the show and Gene is driving his car to Vegas and his car breaks down and he hitches a ride into town and calls Carrot top to pick him up and give him a ride to vegas. Meanwhile his wife screws up the plumbing and water leaks all over his office ruining his Kiss memorabelia so his wife drives around to Kiss fenatics houses to replace the stuff that got water damaged. That shit don't happen in real life it's gotta be scripted.

I think it's well edited, but I would say much of it is very real. If you shoot a family as crazy as his 24/7 you'll be bound to have enough footage to edit and find plenty of WTF moments. Since they know there's cameras I'm sure they act it up sometimes, but the few times I've watched it, honestly that's about how I imagine a huge rock star who's full of himself to live.

Why wow? the two episodes I watched, nothing unbelievable happened. I mean Hef isn't going to stop by my house with a limo full of Playmates, but Gene's famous and his GF is an ex playmate and a very famous one. The 2nd one I think Fred Durst showed up. I would imagine either of these things happening to Gene wouldn't be a big deal.Show seemed pretty boring for the most part, if it's scripted whoever's writing it and coming up with ideas sucks.

it's boring at times, never seen a show that was 100% great from start to finish, reality or not. Reality shows like Genes are watchable because you never know what's going to happen. It's his life being recorded on camera so it's not going to be "holy shit this is good!" all the time. I don't think most of it is scripted though. I really don't watch TV, I don't even own one but I have caught a few episodes while at friends houses.
