You're opening up Capillaries closer to the top layers of your skin with sweating and working out so the sensitivity to cold is going up. It's a good thing.

I have to get back to working out at the gym. I started last year when the Geek forum went up and may have only dropped 10 pounds (250 to 240) but increased stamina to the point that I did a 5K last Halloween. Then didn't do anything over the winter and put on the most ever in my life and jumped for 240 to 265. I look like I can try out for Monday Mania Wrestling or the NFL.

Could be a number of things. A loss of subcutaneous body fat could cause that. Also, overtraining and being over tired can cause that. I notice myself feeling cold when either one of those happen. And I'm almost never cold.

You might also be sick or have a mild cold.

In the end, I'm not a doctor, so don't listen to me. :)

I see.

My hands but especially my feet are always cold when others say they are fine.

I don't think it is due to bad circulation as I do a lot of exercise every week.

And yeah it is down for me also :(

It was working yesterday though.

Off days? You slackard! ;)

Why are women always cold?

Could be an iron deficiency or a thyroid problem (hypothyroidism).

Iron and Cold Sensitivity

Women who often feel cold may be deficient in iron. Lack of sufficient iron, research has shown, blunts the body's response to cooling. Normally, when one is exposed to cold, the thyroid gland immediately starts to produce more than usual amounts of thyroid hormone, which performs as a stimulant and causes the tissues to produce more heat. Iron deficiency diminishes this thyroid response. However, this effect of iron deficiency upon the thyroid is correctable; the responsiveness of the gland and the body'...

Or maybe if you are thin and have low BF, you don't have enough "insulation". We used to keep our house at 68 in the winter, but since my wife slimmed down, she's turned the heat up to 70.

Did you get checked over by a doctor before you started your excercise program?

Maybe losing fat :D When I was swimming in high school, 72 was just too cold for me, I stopped swimming for about 9 months after end of senior year and upper 60's didn't bother me that much, now that I'm swimming again it kinda fluctuates what I find comfortable.

I've not had iron deficency problems in many years and wouldn't image that being a problem at this point as my diet is healthy and clean.Maybe it's just loss of body fat,I've been working pretty hard.

Sorry, been having DNS issues on the new server all day. Learning some of this stuff without WHM/Cpanel is a pain. :D

Back up now, and should be for good. I've got a server admin who will be working on our server tomorrow to get things like email, etc., setup in the near future.

Sorry for the inconvenience. :(

Personally, I couldn't do the no-fat, low-fat diet. I find plain vegetables really bland.

Saute some green beans in butter, add some cheese to he califlower, or have some blue cheese with the celery, and you have something good.

I tried some non-fat plain yogurt yesterday and it was unedible. I'll take the full fat version any day.

Thankfully, in my opinion, the evils of saturated fats are way overhyped.

There are a lot of things I can cut out of my diet and still enjoy eating, but fat isn't one of them.

Thy mixing fresh fruit with that Not Fat Yogurt in a blender. If you need it to be a little sweeter try a little splenda in it.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Non-fat plain yogurt by itself is blah. We have Splenda at home, but I rarely if ever use it. Guess I don't have much of a sweet tooth.
