I read several reviews of g70 gtx and it seems that g70 gtx has a less 3d mark 05 score
than 6800gt sli. I wonder what's real performance(in game) of g70 comparing to 6800gt sli. Because I'm considering return my 6800gt sli and buy a g70 gtx. Is it worth it?

If you read several reviews, you should know that the 7800 beats even some of the 6800 Ultra SLI setups in some settings and games. Not in all, though.

Read the reviews.
Check the games you play.
Make your decision.
Also take into account the (I assume) working video processor on the 7800GTX, the improved AA mode (transparency AA) and the fact that it will run cooler/require less power.
Sometimes a 7800GTX looks like it's better, sometimes it's worse.
It also depends on what CPU you have, a 3200+ venice may limit the power of a high end graphics setup anyway. Many reviews have found even using a 4000+ many games are CPU limited.

Yes, i know it beats 6800u sli in some but not all the games. The most disappointing thing to me is that it can only achive 7xxx in 3dmark 05 if you don't overclock. But I read a review which says that it reaches 11xxx in 05 with a Gainward g70 gtx. This card
has water cooling with itself and can be overclocked to 500Mhz core speed. If that's the case for all the brands, I will definitely return my cards and get a g70 gtx.

That's what I'm afraid of so I ordered an amd x2 4400+ and it shall arrive tomorrow afternoon. I wonder who here has already got a g70 and what is the capability of overclocking?

A 4400+ will be worse for gaming than a 4000+ unless you overclock.
Games are single threaded, and see almost no gain from doing dual core.
The only way you're really going to get improvements with a 4400+ is if you overclocking it to faster speeds than the Venice could do.

the 7800gtx actually beats the ultra (or pretty much ties it) in most games...and ultras in sli are like 5 frames faster than gts in sli, so yea the 7800 is faster (and uses less power, and is cooler). just sell your GTs...to me :)
