Currently I have Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T on this motherboard.

Any one has any experience with this pair?

Gigabyte website says that this motherboard supports AM3+. Not sure if all AM3+ CPUs are the same. FX-6300 is supposed to use less power compared to 1100T, so the powersupply circuitry won't be a problem.
