Is FSB overclocking sensitive to voltage?

Got an e4400 that seemed fine at 300 X 10 but suddenly had some issues. I was thinking of dropping the muli and trying 333 X 9 and wanted to ask if this will allow me to drop vcore back to default. I have it at 1.4 currently. Thanks.
 
Changing your multiplier isn't going to effect how much vcore you'll need, for any given speed, as long as the cpu speed is still the same.
