Is Flashblock or NoScript better (for FF)?

Well I don't use either, but by the names Flashblock only blocks flash. Noscript blocks all scripts. Noscript would be better if you wanted to disable popups and all scripts on a page so it would be safer.

Flashblock only blocks flash. I guess you could use ad-block and it would automatically block ads and you can also manually select flash banners to be blocked too.
 
I use both along with AdBlock Plus. NoScript should cover you in general, but there may be a site where you want to enable js, but block Flash. No reason not to use both.

Once you install NoScript you'll be amazed how many extraneous, external site scripts are loaded on most sites. It's an extra step to enable js on your regular sites, but once you've done that, you only have to occasionally pay attention to it when you're visiting unknown sites. You can usually navigate most sites without bothering to enable js at all.

NoScript covers Flash. I think that if you applied the restrictions on the Embeddings tab to trusted sites, but allowed scripts on all sites, it would work just like FlashBlock.

Otherwise, I agree with manko.
 
no, flash block gives you more fine grained control of what bit of flash on the page you actually want to watch, or in the case of "surprise" videos it gives you the chance to be prepared to watch whatever is on its way.
