But you are correct. There isn't much left of the original IS-F once they gutted it to install all their go-fast parts.

It's basically Lexus body ONLY on top of drag car.

I'm pretty sure you can do that with a Yugo too.....

did they slap the turbo onto the 1UR-FE? or did they swap out the engine too?

648 cubic inch V-8 drag engine. Probably had turbos the size of garbage cans.

Impressive, but that is an IS-F in name only. It has about as much in common with an OEM car as a NASCAR Camry has in common with the one your elderly neighbor drives. (And that is not meant to slam the IS-F, which is a fast and interesting car in a way no Camry will ever be.)
