I installed a second 2GB stick of RAM and I'm wondering if everything's set correctly. That, and I'm wondering if someone could explain NB Frequency and FSB : RAM. The two sticks of RAM I have are:
DIMM # 1
SMBus address 0x50
Memory type DDR2
Module format Regular UDIMM
Manufacturer (ID) Apacer Technology (7F7A000000000000)
Size 2048 MBytes
Max bandwidth PC2-6400 (400 MHz)
Part number 78.A1GA0.AQZ
Serial number 05809412
Manufacturing date Week 41/Year 09
Number of banks 2
Data width 64 bits
Correction None
Nominal Voltage 1.80 Volts
EPP no
XMP no
JEDEC timings table CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS-tRC @ frequency
JEDEC #1 3.0-3-3-9-12 @ 200 MHz
JEDEC #2 4.0-4-4-12-16 @ 266 MHz
JEDEC #3 5.0-5-5-18-23 @ 400 MHz
DIMM # 2
SMBus address 0x51
Memory type DDR2
Module format Regular UDIMM
Manufacturer (ID) A-Data Technology (7F7F7F7FCB000000)
Size 2048 MBytes
Max bandwidth PC2-6400 (400 MHz)
Part number
Manufacturing date Week 12/Year 10
Number of banks 2
Data width 64 bits
Correction None
Nominal Voltage 1.80 Volts
EPP no
XMP no
JDEC timings table CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS-tRC @ frequency
JEDEC #1 3.0-3-3-9-12 @ 200 MHz
JEDEC #2 4.0-4-4-12-16 @ 266 MHz
JEDEC #3 5.0-5-5-18-23 @ 400 MHz
I'm assuming since I haven't taken anything off of auto in the BIOS and I haven't touched the motherboard it should be fine but I've had a string of bad luck lately so I'd rather check and find out it was a stupid question instead of not check and find out I should have. Thanks for any info.
