I remember pointing out in a previous thread that Florida's stand your ground law was so insane a paranoid person could literally shoot anyone they wanted since all they would need was the "belief" they would be harmed. Even if they were 100 percent wrong, and in the same situation 99.999999999999999 percent of people would feel completely safe it was ok to shoot.

In this situation whether there are charges, imo, will come down to whether the second shot was legal. The first clearly was since the salesman was obiously packing "beef"

me and the wife CAN NOT wait to get out of FL. If you live on the beach or in certain areas it can be extremely nice but 90% of this state is a swampland cesspool.

People aren't necessarily "crazy" (OK some are) but just downright ignorant and brain dead, void of all common sense and decency.

I did a work call just this morning in that neighborhood where the cops shot up the guy that answered the door with a gun @ 130am.
