Is ESPN smoking the crack rock or do they just dislike NC State?

No NC State players on the list, although one of them is second in the league in total assists and another one is third in all-time scoring.

Also they snubbed Phillip Rivers from the who was most left out list for the Heisman invitation list.

Tom Gugliotta really wasn't that good, lol.

David Thompson, NC State (1973-1975)

A three-time unanimous, consensus first-team All-American ... Named the AP National Player of the Year in 1974 and 1975 ... UPI Player of the Year, Dunlop Player of the Year, Naismith Award winner, Kodak Award winner in 1975 ... ACC Player of the Year in 1973, 1974 and 1975 ... Earned MVP honors in 1973 World University Games ... ACC all-time scoring leader following his career ... Named to All-tournament team in every tournament he ever played in ... Was the first pick in the 1975 NBA draft.

Thompson played in the mid 70's.

He should be grandfathered in then...

Most of the players listed are a joke...

Brad Daughtery, Shane Battier, Antawn Jamison, Randolph Childress, Jason Williams?

Chris Corchiani had 38 fewer assists than Bobby Hurley, not too shabby considering they did not have a center the entire time he played there. As well as Duke averaged a few more games a year than State.

Rodney Monroe is third in the league in points total. Second only to Dawkins on ESPN's list

Sorry, but Randolph was one of the greatest college players of all time.

Wouldn't be a wee bit biased now would we? 🙂

He's the leading ACC Tourney scorer. That alone counts.
