Is EnerMax or RaidMax any good for Cases?

looking at RaidMax case on directron and wondering if they are anygood ?
just trying to get a case around $50 or $60 I need a powersupply with that too.

what about Enermax ? are they any good ? I read some old posts that said Enermax are ok......

i have a enermax(check the link on my sig) it is a good case im 290 pounds and i can sit on it no problem. looks good to.
 
I have no experience with that specific model, but I regularly use Raidmax cases. Never had a single problem with them - although in one case (pun intended) the power supply was dead out of the box. It was swapped out without question, though.
 
They are just cases enermax purchases and stamps their name on and maybe includes a power supply. I'd avoid raidmax power supplies at all costs and stick with enermax or antec for power supplies.
 
Some of the Raidmax are of pretty thin metal and their shipping boxes are flimsy so a higher percentage seem to end up damaged in shipping. Read the user reviews on newegg. Some of the Enermax cases are among the best available (e.g. the 1018x series and the Titanium), but often the bundled PSU is not the same as the ones they've made their rep on. Caveat emptor.

I just finished building a computer for my daughter with the Enermax CS-317IL silver case. I ordered the case from Directron without the 350W PS. The PS that comes with the case is not an Enermax. For this case Directron gives you $23. off if you order it without a PS. I opted for a 420W Enlight PS for her P4 2.8. I would rate this case a B-. The plastic door on the bottom of the front of the case that covers the USB ports, mic, and headphone jacks is very flimsy. The case arrived with a broken door. The box the case shipped in had no packing between the box and the front of the case. Directron though shipped me a replacement door quickly. The case comes with no instructions on how to hook up the front ports to your motherboard, but your MB manual should help you here. Be very, very careful when you pull the plastic front of the case off to install a front fan. It's attached to the steel case with 6 plastic dowel type pins and these break off easily. I had to epoxy 2 of them back on to the front. The fan openings on the back of the case are too small and restrict air flow. The case comes with only 1 fan installed on the side panel. I turned this fan around so it blows air into the case for better cooling. Even though the case is constructed of 0.7 mm steel it is sturdy with very little side twist. The inside is roomy but it makes it a lot easier to install the MB if you take the sound activated neon light out first. My daughter thinks the case is very cool looking, the 2 front light bars that constantly change color and the inside sound activated blue neon light.
To match the fronts of her biege Lite-On CD-RW and DVD drives to the silver color of the case, I sprayed the fronts of the drives with Plastikote smoke silver vinyl color. This is a vinyl dye that can be purchased in auto parts stores, e.g., Advance Auto. It's virtually foolproof, no sanding or priming needed, and it will not scratch or peel.
