Do you mean it takes forever to have the download start or does it take forever for the file to d/l once it has started...I can't even get one single file of any type to even start.
I seem to recall that it would just queue you up for a dog's age. Unlike kazaa where you can locate a file and zap it down, emule is really meant to be left on in the background doggedly, and slowly, downloading whatever you are trying to get. Bad for mp3s (go with kazaa), but good for rarer items like poodle-porn and the like.Originally posted by: edprush

do you have a high user id?
ive been using it for awhile, got it working pretty good but just use it as a backup for files i cant find anywhere else. It is slow to start and complete, you just have to let em sit for a week
Don't be so quick to judge, without watching some first.Originally posted by: TheBoyBlunder

Apparently I don't have a "high user id"...what is it? Is it important in order to get into the d/l queue?
