I recently bought 3x256mb sticks of PC2100 RAM from buyaib.com to put in 3 systems I will be building for friends. On their website it said that they use Micron, Samsung, and Kingston RAM interchangably for this product. I got my RAM and the chips say Elixir on them. Is this RAM any good? Thanks

Why do you reply if you've never heard of it? hehe

I've used a few elixer sticks of ram and they did not overclock worth !!! so I gave them to a friend. The elixir chips are what I got when I purchased the CHEAPEST generic ram at say.. Fry's electronics.

Edit: my bad I didn't know you already had them. Well some positive points is that they work flawlessly in a NON-overclocked system and it hasn't gone bad :) The elixir ram I used was PC133 so maybe the PC2100 is better. :)

If it is the same generic Elixer sticks I've seen at stores where I shop, they have 7.5ns chips that will run fine at 2.5 CAS, 133mhz. I haven't heard about any major compatibility problems with this memory. Just don't expect to overclock it.

Well I seriously doubt if the people I am building these systems for wiil overclock. I am just kind of mad that it said I was getting Micron, Kingston, or Samsung, and I get some generic crap.
