Is ebay the best place to get an SNES?

So my wife is bored of the GameCube, since the only game she likes is Mario Kart. There are a lot of games we both like for the SNES and we want to pick one up. Where's the best place to get one, ebay?

Their are a couple little game stores/traders around me who sell and trade old systems/games. I would check to see if you have any of those in your area.

craigslist is a great place too. u could also do emulators and buy 2 usb joysticks.

Is the Super SmartJoy USB adapter the best route to go?

Let's be realistic. While emulators are technically legal, it is a copyright violation to use the ROMs of games you did not purchase. You are implying he should participate in an illegal activity. Keep that stuff private so that threads don't get locked.

Kaido, I got mine at a blowout of the 2nd gen at Best Buy. I think your best bet would be through some classifieds site or at a local game store. If you have the time and motivation, you could also peruse some garage sales because I am sure they are a bargain there. You could probably pick one up with a ton of games at a garage sale.

Yeah yesterday was tag sale mania here - I saw at least 5 or 10 just driving home. ROMs are fun but having to hook up the computer to the TV, load the game, the rom, configure everything, blah, blah, blah - might as well spend $20 for the console on ebay 🙂
