is dvi worth an upgade

Ive read that dvi give a sharrper image thah analog but is it worth the 800 dollar cost to upgrade 19 inch dell lcd and 8500 ati, 700+100=800

It depends on what you're doing. For general home use, then for most people it's not worth $800 just for a little more sharpness. LCD monitors are, on the whole, sharper than CRT's, and have no gemoetry defects whatsoever, even around the edges (impossible on a CRT). The DVI interface is also a bit better than analog, but it's not like a night-and-day difference. Personally, I'd hold off on the monitor upgrade, unless you really have a problem with CRT's at the moment.
