Is Duron from Buy.com unlocked? Is it retail box or OEM?

I just found there is no description of warranty, boxed or oem on their website. But at least, they are at good price with coupon deduction.
I wonder if anyone has got one from them, and would like to report on some specifics of them.

Hey alzebra,

If you look at the part# it will tell you if it's a retail boxed chip. For instance the Duron700 they have for $119 is part#-D700BOX, "BOX" meaning retail boxed.

I have bought chips from them many times before, and that's how they are listed. Also, I have never had a problem with Buy.com, and I think they are a very good company.

As far as locked or un-locked.......just a chance you take I guess, since some people have said they have recieved both kinds from them.

I just bought a T-Bird 750 from these guys and it came in yesterday. It's a week 30 and has the bridges cut on the top, but does have all the pins on the bottom. It is retail with heatsink. It's a good deal and should be a good overclocker once my L1 bridges are connected. I was talking to another guy that just got a week 31 retail Duron from them, in same condition. The chips with the L1 bridges cut should be good overclockers. They are newer than the ones that have the bridges connected.

Got 600 Duron from Buy.com last week. says warranty from AMD is 3 years (no oc'ing of course). Boxed with generic hs/fan. Stable at 850 mhz. It was locked but easily fixed with .5 pencil. Some are saying that locked durons o/c higher. Waiting for my alpha....
