Is Dungeon Siege the next Diablo?

Very similar in concept. It's growing on me. I love the simplicity and yet the complexity of the combat system.

If they turned this game into an MMORPG Evercrap and Dark Age of Sucksalot would die within a month.

I dunno....it was fun for a while and then got pretty damn repetitive. Plus it's a total pain in the ass to manage a large party.

i remember Firingsquad.com gave that game 90% rating and the whole website community had a controversy that they took bribes from Microsoft to give such rating etc..

i enjoyed the game when i first played through it, but after a while it got a bit repetitive. I can't wait until Chris Taylor+GPG announce their next RTS (anyone here played Total Annihilation?)

Agreed, but I do hope the next one has more of a plot with some side quests added.

Total Annihilation was one of my all time favorite games...

YES!!! TA rules! We're having a LAN party in a few weeks, and that will be one of the highlight games. I have almost 2 gigs worth of 3rd party maps, units and AI... anyone wanna play a game? 🙂 I also enjoyed DS a great deal...

TA was good - I got sick of being rape-rushed tho. So I always comm-rushed. D-gun my way in, and if you blow me up, neither of us win.

Put the random element of Diablo 2 in with the graphic element and combat system of Dungeon Siege and it's Game of the Year material.
