What do you all think? She thinks I'm getting geeky now that I've joined AnandTech, and discovered the world of overclocking and case mods.

I keep telling her its a cool thing like what people do to cars, we only do it to the computer. Supercharging it!! :D

But she's not buying it. Any other good analogies? How can I convince her?

My girlfriend thinks all the nerdy things I do are really cute and smart. Just get a girlfriend like that - one who is intelligent and not a total dimwit. You don't have to explain anything to your girlfriend. Tell her she just has to live with it.

It's geeky. She needs to accept it. Most girls I've met either think you're smart because of it or they think the geekyness is cute.

Yeah, we are all geeks, or what ever society wants to label us. It is just too bad that our hobby is capable of earning us loads of money. How many other hobbies can say that?;)
I am proud to be a well off geek...

Modding cars is far cooler than modding computers. It's damn expensive though......

/me wants car parts, but can't afford them :(
