Title pretty much sums it up. I just want to know if this is a good thing to install and/or if there are any negatives about it. My system is an AMD t/bird, abit kt7a raid m/b, ati aiw radeon and a soundblaster live. I'd like to install 3dmark 2001 and it requires DirectX 8.
Is DirectX 8 a good thing to have?
