The wife and I are needing an easy-to-make dinner tonight because of our schedules. I was thinking of picking up a Digiorno pizza at the store, but I've never tried it before. Is it worth getting?

I thought it was crappy. Pick up a Bobolli pizza crust, toss on some sauce and cheese and you're done.

Freshetta is better, but Digiorno is still pretty good.

I think Tombstone is tastier, but that may be just me :p

Some of the Freschettas are pretty cool too!

Cost and location. $5 for a pizza versus $12 makes a difference, and no pizza place is on the way home. Besides... ummm... my schedule includes making time for other uses with the wife. ;)

Digiorno beats the crab out of other "cardboard" frozen pizzas. I can't stand jacks, tombstone, etc. since they are bland and dont have any substance.

Digiorno is the #2 frozen pizza. THE BEST frozen pizza belongs to Freschetta sauce stuffed (in the crust) pizza. The sauce has a great flavor too it and actually has some spicey kick. #3 is Freschetta's brick over style pizza. Thin crust but very tasty (and it's a rectangle...who'd of thunk it? ;) ).

Why, thank you very much Staley8! I sell Freschetta for a living. (Drive one of them big treucks that say "Red Baron" or "Freschetta" on the side. I do not eat frozen pizza anymore, as a rule, because of the burnout factor. I know you people think you can eat pizza every day, like I did, and after a few months it goes south REAAAAALLL quick.

Anyway, incase anyone cares, Tombstone, Digiorno,Jacks all the same company:Kraft. Red Baron, Tony's, Frescehtta all the same company: Schwan's(Yep the home delivery people).

We sell a lot of the stuffed crust Freschetta here in Atlanta. I also see you like the Brick Oven pizza. What kind? I think the spinach mushroom is pretty good.

If you can find a Red Baron" Limited Edition" Thin Crust Mexican Pizza in Wal-Mart, buy it. It is probably the best frozen pizza I have ever eaten. And thats saying a lot coming from a jaded source like me.

Peace
