Is Deus Ex still 20 bucks at best buy? If not is system shock 2 worth it to hold me until I can afford deus ex?

Really? $20 for Deus Ex? I was going to download the demo and the addon mission for the demo, but feared that I would get addicted to it and play the same demo over and over, now I can go to bestbuy and pick i tup

both games are great. the guy behind deus ex created the original system shock 1 so there are some similarities in gameplay. but they're both worth playing. system shock 2 might run better on your system unless you have a voodoo video board (anything with glide support). since deus ex is based on the unreal engine it has minimal (if any at all) direct3D support.

The deus ex demo and mission addon kicked ass. I need more gameplay but I only have 20 bucks
