You just care less and less about things. Sports, Reading, TV and then people.
Looking out the window seems better than the Today Show, Judge Whoever or Entertainment Everywhere.

Can save some money just looking out the window.

It is one of the worst. You often eventually forget your loved ones. You can't even remember who your children are or that you even had children. You forget who your spouse is, and where you live. Terrible.

Given that my mother is likely just days away from passing from it I would say that dementia/Alzheimer's is horrid.

I knew someone who was in advanced stages, and couldn't remember anything. Every morning she woke up and asked where her husband was. He had died years before. Every day she received the news anew, until they stopped telling her. Absolutely terrible.

Yeah, it sucks.

Poor guy won't even remember that lap dance.

Also pedophilia is bad. Just because apparently we have to remind people of that now.

Wonder what is worst forgetting your spouse passed away or forgetting who they are.

it's a horrible thing. My pops has Alzheimers and it's getting bad. He forgot who I am once so far in person, not sure about just in general, and the last time I spoke to him on the phone he couldn't put together a coherent sentence, until he realized it and called himself stupid. That line was coherent. It's a shame, because he was a highly educated intellectual. Now he can just talk about the weather and some other small talk. Sad.

And how to talk. I had an uncle who was bilingual (English and French) and couldn't speak a word by the end. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

My mom stopped eating altogether 2 weeks ago, she just refuses to eat which is a very common end to dementia. She is literally starving to death.

This is exactly what happened with my mother-in-law. It'll be 5 years in April since she passed.

Given that my mother is likely just days away from passing from it I would say that dementia/Alzheimer's is horrid.

Had the same thing happened with my mom; she passed almost 2 years ago. I'm truly sorry.

Very sorry to hear this. All the best to your family.

And to the stupid ass OP, WTF are you thinking? Have you ever experienced a loved one that has this terrible disease? My mother passed away in November, but I lost her several years ago as far as her memory goes. You sir are an idiot.

Talk about an epic thread backfire. I think the OP was just trying to joke around about this bizarre story, and the thread got real fast.

Honestly by the look of the video it appears the woman was just harassing that poor guy. She's scum.
