Is "Damn" a bad word?.... I hate when people correct me or look at me stupid for saying "damn" same thing with "hell"....

I don't consider it a "bad word" but it's not a word I'd use in mixed company.

It's a mild bad word. I still make sure it's appropriate when I'm saying it. I kinda learn who it is OK to cuss in front of.

I don't believe there's such a thing as a "bad word" - however, society seems to think so.

They're just words!! People are too old-fashioned/superstitious.

I hate how people are like "shhh theres kids around, dont say bad words"...all i know is after like 2nd/3rd grade all elementry, middle, highschool kids cuss like hell, except the goodie goods....

Depends. Damn has relgious conations. Saying damn means being damned to hell.
So some people feel its a bad thing to say.

I personally feel there are much worse words but then again, I have had to watch my words
around people with children who feel its a bad word.
