Is cygwin's site down?

I don't think it's my internet, but their site isn't working for me and I need to install it to do my homework.

That's down for me too.

Depending on what you're doing:
Install Linux (or better) on your system.
Get a second computer for real work.
Use VMware or similar (qemu maybe?) to run it under Winders.
SSH into a Linux machine.
Use Microsoft's SFU (Services For Unix).
Use a mirror.
Here, here, or here. If those don't work and you need another, let me know.

Mirrors work fine for downloading the setup, but when I run the setup it needs to download more files, and can't connect to find the list of download sites.

It doesn't give you the option to use a mirror to get that list of files? Could you use your hosts file to trick it?

Use the install from local directory. That shouldn't require anything on the net (after you've downloaded the files).

Thanks a bunch. Was taking chem my sophomore year when I signed up, so I went with it.
