Is Cuba a communist country?

Cuba of course it is! One of the very few communist countries left. Infidel Castro rules with an iron fist, backed up by modifyed and flawed Karl Marx ideology.

n.
Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.
The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved.

Doesn't Cuba has the Marxist-Leninist Government?

And supplied by Canada. It is their number three trading partner after the US and Mexico. Canada does not honor our embargo......:disgust:

It's an authoritarian regime. A dictatorship really.

Definately not socialist. Far from it. Sweden is a good example of a socialist country.

its just a dictatorship with the leader desperately holding on by preaching the dogma of communism on one hand.. and trying to encourage capitolism in the other😛 its pathetic really.

According to this economics textbook here it says there aren't any communist countries (just communities). Says it's some sorta socialist country. I can't remember what, there's like 50 different types.

them and north korea are the only really leninist places on earth anymore. and cuba is far less threatening than north korea. castro wants to be cuban, rather than a puppet state, and is satisfied with that. kim jong il would start a war if he could. of that i'm sure. if i had to pick one of the two to live under it certainly wouldn't be that stalin wannabe.

We are cuba's 3rd largest trading partner, but cuba is not canada's 3rd largest. And yes, I am very very happy that Trudeau chose not to honour your stupid embargo.

And you can take that disgust emoticon and shove it 🙂
